Hormones are in pellet form, similar to a grain of rice. A tiny incision is made and the pellets are inserted. The area is covered with a small dressing and the patient is released. Blood will be checked in three to four weeks for women, and four to six weeks for men to evaluate the body’s response.

Most patients begin feeling relief from symptoms as early as seven days from insert. After treatment, most patients experience significant improvement, including increased sex drive, ability to remember things more clearly, cessation of night sweats and hot flashes as well as restful sleeping patterns.

Typically, patients will have a blood test administered a few weeks after treatment to monitor hormone levels. This helps our staff adjust treatment if needed to help balance hormones and to keep them regulated to where the patient is free of symptoms and vitality is restored. Every 3 - 4 months is the most common interval for patients to receive treatment so that our staff can properly monitor individual hormone levels.
